About Us

Plume Collaborative is a full-service interior design studio, specializing in residential projects and small-scale commercial spaces. Founded in 2018 by Allison Maleri, our mission is to approach each project with a holistic vision. From initial concept development to project completion, we work collaboratively with clients, architects, and contractors to bring your vision to life. 

Our philosophy is to design spaces that are a true reflection of the clients inhabiting them. Together, we will create spaces that are not only comfortable and inviting, but stylish and unique. 

Meet Allison

Born and raised in Connecticut, Allison has always been exposed to design. Whether it was accompanying her mother, a fellow interior designer, to high-end residential projects, or visiting construction and development sites with her father, one could say she was destined to work in the design field. 

Prior to founding Plume Collaborative, Allison spent six years with a renowned architectural firm based in Westport, Connecticut. During her time with the firm, Allison was involved in numerous projects from high-end private residences to institutional projects in both the public and private sectors.  Allison is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design and holds a BFA in Interior Design. 

As the Founder and Principal Designer of Plume Collaborative, Allison’s approach to design is based on a deep understanding that the success of every project lies in the precise comprehension and execution of every detail – no matter how small.
